Eligibility Criterion


The college offers following academic programmes:
  • LL.B. (Five years Course) eligibility - Students who have passed 12th standard examination with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
  • LL.B. (Three Years Course) eligibility - graduate or post graduates in any faculty with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

There is no entrance test for admission to LL.B. Course. Candidates for both 3 years/5 years LL.B. course shall be selected by the Admission Committee, consisting of the Principal as the Chairperson and three other members of the Faculty nominated by the Principal as members, based on merit taking into consideration of the academic record of the candidate in the qualifying examinations i.e. graduation of H.S.C.(12 std) as the case may be.

For admission of L.L.B. three-year course and Pre law five year course we publish admission notice in the month of may every year in news papers.

Admission forms are made available at college office along with the college prospectus

Examinations are conducted by the shivaji university in the month of Oct./Nov. and in the month of April / May every year. There is semester pattern of examination.

For Three-Year LL.B. Course
Each paper shall form a separate head of passing to pass the examination a candidate must obtain at least 33% of the total marks assigned to each paper and 50% of the total marks assigned to all papers in the examination. Those of the successful candidates who obtain 50% or more of the total marks nut below 60% will be placed in the second class and those who obtain 60% or more of the total marks will be placed in the First Class and the candidates who obtain 70% or more of the total mark will be placed First class with distinction.
For Five Year LL.B. Course
To pass the examination a candidate must obtain at least 33% of the total marks assigned to each paper and 45% of the aggregate marks assigned to all papers in the I or II year examination of the Law Course. A candidate who obtains 45% or more of the total marks will be placed in the second class and who obtains 60% or more of the total marks will be placed in first class.

For LL.B. 3 year course
  • 2nd ,4th and 6th Semester - A student for being eligible for admission to the 2nd, 4th and 6th Semester must have successfully kept the terms for the 1st, 3rd and 5th Semester respectively of the result of these Semester examination.
  • 3rd Semester - A student for being eligible for admission to the 3rd Semester must have got exemption in at least ten Papers of the 1st and 2nd Semesters.
  • 5th Semester - A student for being eligible for admission to the 5th Semester must have either passed in the 3rd and 4th Semester or must have got exemption in at least Fourteen Papers of the 3rd and 4th Semesters.
For LL.B. 5 year course
  • 2nd, 4th , 6th , 8th and 10th Semester - A student for being eligible for admission to 2nd , 4th, 6th , 8th and 10th Semester must have successfully kept the terms for the 1st , 3rd, 5th ,7th and 9th Semester respectively, irrespective of the result of these Semester Examinations.
  • 3rd Semester - A Student for being eligible for admission to the 3rd Semester must have either passed in the 1st and 2nd Semester of must have got exemption in at least eight Papers of the 1st and 2nd semesters.
  • 5th Semester - A students for being eligible for admission to the 5th Semester must have either passed in the 3rd and 4th Semester or must have got exemption in at least eight Papers of the 3rd and 4th Semesters.
  • 7th Semester - A student for being eligible for admission to the 7th Semester must have either passed in the 5th and 6th Semester of must have got exemption in at least Papers of the 5th and 6th Semesters.
  • 9th Semester - A student for being eligible for admission to the 9th Semester must have either passed in the 7th and 8th Semester of must have got exemption in at least Papers of the 7th and 8th Semesters.
