Founder’s Message

I established Bharati Vidyapeeth in 1964 with the realization that an all-sided social transformation can be brought about through the spread of education. During the last 50 years, we have established more than 160 educational units of various kinds, from pre-primary school to university, in different parts of India. New Law College, Kolhapur, was established in 1882 to satisfy the vital demands of the public to provide 'legal education' to the students in and around Kolhapur, particularly to those who come from the rural area of the district. I welcome you all to the Bharati Vidyapeeth and promise the best of the faculty, student care, and a conducive atmosphere of learning. I am sure that you will have a wonderful experience of quality and need-based education at our college. I wish that your professional career will rise to great heights and that you will cherish all your dreams after completing legal education at our school. What we have achieved so far is definitely But I am aware there is still scope for us to be better and reach higher pinnacles of academic excellence.
